Demo accounts are designed to help you get familiar with trading, our products, and account types. They allow you to explore features like floating and fixed leverage without any financial risk. Demo accounts are available for every trading account type offered by MH Markets.

Keep in mind that prices on demo and live accounts won't always match, and spreads can differ too.
Transitioning from Demo to Live Trading
While demo trading offers an excellent risk-free environment to learn, it cannot fully replicate live execution conditions, financial pressure, or trading psychology. Profitability in a demo account does not prove that a live account will be profitable. Whether a live account is suitable for you ultimately depends on your understanding of leveraged products and your personal risk tolerance.
How Many Demo Accounts Can You Open?
Practicing before entering the real market is essential. At MH Markets, we make it easy for you to learn the platform and test your strategies.
- Each client can open up to 10 demo accounts on both MT4 & MT5.
- Please note that after 3 months, the demo account will be archived and cannot be restored due to system limitations.
How to Tell if Your Account is Demo or Live?
Not sure whether your account is demo or live? Here’s how you can check:
From the Dashboard:
- Log in and go to MH Dashboard > My Accounts.
- You’ll see separate tabs for Demo and Live accounts - check under the correct tab with the account number to confirm the type.
If you are already logged in, you can check the account type in MetaTrader:
In MetaTrader Desktop:
- In the Navigator window, you can check all accounts you have logged into.
- It will indicate whether it’s a demo or a live.
- Demo accounts will show as "Demo Account" alongside your server details (e.g., MohicansMarkets-Demo - Demo Account).
In MetaTrader Mobile:
- Demo accounts are marked with a green line and the word “Demo” on them.
