Managing leverage is an important part of your trading strategy. Whether you want more flexibility or prefer a fixed approach, adjusting your account leverage can help you align risk with your goals. You can find more about the leverage types that MH Markets offers. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to change your leverage settings directly from your account dashboard.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to the “Trading” section.
- Locate the trading account you wish to modify.
- Click the three dots (•••) icon next to the account
- Select “Change Leverage”
- Enter the Verification code sent to your email.
- If you’d like to use fixed leverage, simply turn off the toggle and choose your preferred leverage ratio.
- Review your selection and click "Confirm".
- If you have existing open positions, they will remain unchanged. Any new trades will be opened using the updated leverage settings.
- Your account Maring Level should be 200% or more. Check out an Understanding Margin Level, Margin Call, and Stop Out article before making any changes.
