Steps to Set Up VPS for MetaTrader
First you need to choose a VPS provider. MH Markets currently does not provide or offer VPS services. Clients interested in utilizing VPS services are encouraged to explore third-party providers to meet their trading needs.
- On Windows PC:
- Open Remote Desktop Connection (RDP).
- Enter the VPS IP address, username, and password provided by your VPS provider.
- On Mac or Mobile:
- Use an RDP app (e.g., Microsoft Remote Desktop).
- Once connected to the VPS, download and install MT4 or MT5 just like on your local computer.
- Log In to Your Trading Account as usual
- Leave MetaTrader open on the VPS to ensure EAs and trades execute continuously.
