Scalping is a short-term trading strategy where traders aim to make small profits from frequent trades throughout the day. Instead of holding positions for hours or days, scalpers typically enter and exit trades within seconds or minutes.
- Positions are opened and closed quickly to capture minor gains.
- Traders look for small price movements in highly liquid markets.
Does MH Markets allow scalping?
Scalping may be permitted on MH Markets accounts, subject to the client agreement and applicable trading rules.
Excessive or abusive scalping practices may be restricted. The fact that a trading platform technically allows frequent order placement does not by itself mean that every scalping strategy complies with the applicable account rules.
Before using a high-frequency or automated scalping strategy, review the rules applicable to your account. For more information about EAs, scalping, arbitrage, and hedging restrictions, see Trading Strategy Rules: EAs, Scalping, Arbitrage and Hedging.
If you have questions about whether a specific strategy is permitted for your account, contact your account manager or MH Markets Customer Support at support@mhmarkets.com.
